About memberships

Create membership products in your community so that your members can easily subscribe and manage their ongoing membership subscriptions.

Subscriptions auto-renew until they are cancelled. 

Membership subscription payments are transacted through Stripe, so you will need to set up as a Playwaze Payment Receiver (if you haven't already done so) to collect subscription payments.

You can set up memberships for a fixed term i.e. a one-off subscription that lasts a period of time, monthly or yearly. For recurring subscriptions, you can set a standard renewal date e.g. 1st Jan and pro-rate charges for people subscribing at a mid-point e.g. a person subscribing half way through the membership year pays 50%.

Memberships are fully integrated into all Activities on Playwaze. This allows you to:

• Make certain memberships mandatory on bookings and entries e.g. "you can't enter this competition without a valid Full Adult membership". This is a great way to reduce your admin in chasing membership renewals. Playwaze provides you with a simply automated "no membership - no play" policy!
• Set tiered pricing based on memberships e.g. "£10 for non-members, £6 for members". Playwaze will check the person's membership status and charge them the relevant price when they book an activity or enter a competition.
