League tiebreakers

When you have participants tied in your league you can choose tiebreaker settings to separate them.

Set tiebreaker rules on league add / edit. There are 5 tiebreaker options available. You can set multiple options 1 - 5 in the order they are applied. If you only want to set one option, just select that one for all five. Tiebreaker options are:

Walkovers conceded: Whoever conceded the most walkovers will lose the tiebreaker

Head to head: If the tiebreaker is between 2 teams, then the winner is the one with the best total score in the matches they played against each other

For example, football team A and team B played each other twice, and the total goals for team A was 4, and goals for team B was 3. Team A will win the tiebreaker. If the tiebreaker is between 3 or more teams, then the total number of match wins between them is calculated and league placement is ordered accordingly.

Score difference: Whoever has the highest positive score (e.g. goals difference) will win the tiebreaker

Score total: Whoever has the highest score total (e.g. goals) will win the tiebreaker
