To manage all your team settings go to Settings > Teams in your left panel menu. You can set the following.
1) Team Grouping
Group your teams into categories
Enable team categories for grouping your teams e.g. by club, hall, venue
Sub-group your teams in participation formats
Enable team types for grouping your teams by format e.g. Mens, Womens, Under 16's
Choose the format of your team names
Either use free text team names or automatically include your team category / team type names.
2) Team Labels
Customise the naming of all things team making it specific to your organisation!
3) Team Permissions
Who can view all teams?
For when you want to hide teams from general view. Can be useful during an entry period where you might not want teams to see which other teams have entered.
Who can add new teams?
Set who can add new teams to your Community. Note that team administrators will only be able to add teams to their own team category.
Who can add teams through team sign-ups?
Set who can create new teams in a competition entry. If a person does not have permissions to create a new team when entering a competition they will need to select an existing team.
Tick this box if you only allow teams to be created through team sign ups
When set, teams can only be created when entering a competition. They cannot be created directly in the Community.
4) Team Join
When a member applies to join a squad, who should we notify?
If you have unset Players join squads directly without needing to apply players will need to apply to join a team. Optionally select who receives a notification when someone applies to join a team.
Who can manage the members of your team's squads?
Set who can add / remove people in teams.
Who can view and edit members' profile data in Teams?
Set who can view and modify team members' profile data. This will only include profile data that you collect through forms. People will not be able to modify people's basic account data e.g. name, email address.
Players join squads directly without needing to apply.
Either people can join teams directly OR they will need to apply. When people apply they will need to be approved by a person who has permission to manage members of the team.

Change the text on the team apply button.
Edit the ‘Check Eligible’ button text
DO NOT USE. This setting has been decommissioned.
Hidden teams text description
If you have chosen to hide teams, you can enter some text to display e.g. "Teams are hidden while entries for the summer events are being taken"
