Team join rules

You may want to set some rules around who can or can't join particular teams.

For example, you need to be under 16 years of age to join an Under 16's team or you need to have a valid club membership to join any team.

You can set these rules on individual team categories and team types. Any teams within will apply the team join rules. If you set rules on both team category and team type the rules will be combined. 

Rules are set in custom forms. See create and manage forms. Forms can then be assigned to a team category or team type. To assign a form go to the team category or team type and click Settings (cog) > Form.

When someone joins a team they will be presented with a form to complete. The information they provide in the form will need to meet the form rules you have set before they are added to the team.
