It's important to make sure you set up your sessions and classes with the correct schedules to avoid confusing your new and existing participants.
1) Repeating (most popular)
Use repeating if your activity has more than one session or reoccurs in a pattern e.g. twice a week on a Tuesday and Thursday.
- Set the duration. Tell us how long each session runs for, this must be the same length of time for all sessions, so if you have a session(s) that run for more/less time, you will need to create a separate activity.
- Set the venue. Tell us where the activity is taking place. As with the duration, currently the venue must be the same for all sessions, so if you have any that take place at a different venue, you will need to create a separate activity for each venue.
- Set the start date & time. Tell us when you would like the first session to take place. It's best to use the first date that you would like participants to book from.
- Set the schedule. Tell us how often the activity takes place. You can choose from:
- Weekly. If your activity takes place weekly, whether it be once a week or every weekday, select this option.
- Fortnightly. If your activity takes place every other week, whether it be once or multiple times, select this one.
- On the given day, each month. If your activity takes place a selected day of the month, select this one.
2) One-off
Use one-off if your activity takes place at a fixed date and time with no plans for it to take place again in the near future.
3) Blocks
If you run a series of sessions for your activity that must be booked together, this is the option for you. For example; a termly swim school which runs weekly swimming lessons can be created as one block. All participants would be required to book the entire course for a single cost. You can find out more block bookings here.
